Appearance: The size and shape of the Fey are diverse as the changing seasons. From tall and elegant to short and savage, the Fey come in all shapes and sizes and no two are the same, though they do tend to trends depending on their time of creation.
Summer Fey are typically the tallest and most beautiful, holding an otherworldly beauty with radiant auras and glowing eyes. Autumn Fey are the most humanoid, almost mundane in appearance aside from minor traits; an assortment of leaves for hair, sharper nails, or a discoloration in the skin might be all that separate Autumn Fey from other common races.
The Winter Fey are more alien; a lanky species with bony limbs or jagged features. Winter Fey tend to be shorter, with blue or white coloration to their skin and a constant scowl. Spring Fey also have a trend for smaller height, that of a child, and possess the most vibrant coloration in skin, hair, and eyes.
These are standards and not always the case; a Winter Fey could be a cold yet beautiful woman while a summer fey could be a three-foot tall, bark-skinned creature with roots for teeth. The only trait that all Fey share in common is their ears, which are longer than most races and pointed at the upper tip.

Religion: The Fey worship themselves. Not that each Fey believes itself a God, but each Fey knows that it has the potential within itself. The Fey courts, Seelie and Unseelie, are both ruled by a Lord or a Lady who exemplifies the entirety of their living Court in its most earnest state. These Rulers of the Courts are akin to Totem Gods: immortal, reality bending individuals who are bound by the aspects they represent.
The will of the Fey population affects the will of its Lord or Lady. Should all Unseelie Fey suddenly decide that they love flowers and helping strangers cross the road, the Unseelie Lord or Lady would subconsciously take on this desire. Should the Lord or Lady push against it, they risk losing their power to whatever Fey newly represents their kin most. Likewise, the will of the Seelie and Unseelie ruler has an effect on all denizens of its court. Many civilizations have been hesitant to anger the Seelie or Unseelie rulers, for should they desire war, the bloodlust would trickle down to all their court denizens across the realms.
