Talruul
Satellite world of the fallen Djeet Empire, Talruul has seen an equal invasion by Humanity and is now the most evenly balanced selection of worldly powers. The now-native Humans, Djeet, Wukai, and Feyborn have seen a stalemate for nearly 100 years since the last Dragonfall when it was realized by all that the world held bigger threats. Much of the northern and central land is still untamed, leading to constant exploration and a call for adventurers, for major Feyborn societies rarely left the forests and the Wukai kept to the coast. More recently, the Human colonies have claimed independence from the Wyndan Empire of their homeworld and formed two footholds on the largest continent. Talruul is the primary realm of the Esper Worlds setting.
Irth
Homeworld of Humanity. The realm of Irth is ruled by Humans and hosts no other sentient race. The Empire of Wyndany is recognizable by its arcane trains, signature black and white buttoned attire, grand castles, and dark ales. Its Imperial family, the Steisel royal line, breeds for power rather than nobility and thus their descendants are often the most potent espers on the planet. Wyndan citizens are known for their productivity, practicality, and lack of humor. The other ruling body of Irth is the Sultanate of Risker, land of sun and spice. The dark skinned Risks are resolute warriors, passionate worshipers of their Sun God, and strong believers in their caste-based system. Risks are known for their curved blades, famous explorers, overprotective parenting, and sandworm mounts. It was Wyndany who invented the creation of Worldgates, and Riskar has been warring with them ever since to retrieve the secrets. The centuries long war is now only for sport, both leaders know, for it is no secret that Riskar has held Worldgate techniques for decades.
Aqualen
A vast waterworld of deep oceans and luring danger. Aqualen contains a host of diverse aquatic civilizations, from the muscular and scaled Crocytes of the shallow sea-mountains to the mystic Merluans, a race of merfolk with waterjets in place of fish halves. There is no land on Aqualen, but ancient Djeet settlers constructed hundreds of floating ports to act as town settlements. Most of these ports were destroyed by storms over the centuries but dozens remain and have been reclaimed by Telnorral or Risk explorers. Aqualen's most notable trait is that its many-faced Wild God, Triton, has recently entered a deep slumber and thus the storms that wracked the land have calmed. Settlers welcome this change with open arms, but some fear what may crawl from the depths now that the biggest fish in the sea is gone.
